Daily Nugget:<\/strong>
In writing to the church in Galatia (Galatians 1:2), Paul saw something in the church that displeased him.\u00a0He was concerned that they learned what he taught them, but changed it.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Paul had taught them was given to the apostle as a revelation from Jesus Christ (Galatians 1:12). The Gospel was not open to discussion or change, yet that is what they were doing. They were preaching and teaching another \u201cgospel\u201d (Galatians 1:6) other than what they had first learned. Since there is only one Gospel, what they were teaching was false. It was a perversion of the truth (Galatians 1:7).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, similar perversions are occurring. Many churches and denominations teach doctrines contrary to those of the preserved King James Bible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even the changing of the foundation of the truth, the Bible, is rampant everywhere. Over 300 different perversions of God\u2019s Word in English further add to other teachings. The result is more confusion, fewer conversions, and many opinions of what men think God\u2019s Word says or means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Something newer and better should warn believers that something is amiss. The \u201cmodernized and less strict\u201d church services, modern music, and new, revised \u201cbibles\u201d should send shivers down a Christian\u2019s spine that something is changing. God\u2019s Word is perfect; it does not need revision. If it did, the Lord Himself would be the one doing it, not man. There is one God and one way to please Him \u2014 His way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
