Whoever it is, sexual relations outside of marriage are sins. If it is between unmarried people, most agree, it is called \u201cfornication.\u201d If the iniquity involves a married person, it is \u201cadultery.\u201d<br><em>\u201cBe ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?\u201d II Cor. 6:14<br>\u201cFlee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.\u201d I Cor. 6:18<\/em> &nbsp;Also: I Cor. 6:18, I Thes. 4:3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Intimate experiences are intended to be between a married man and a woman. Although \u201cshacking up\u201d is sadly commonplace today, it is a sin (Jude 1:7).&nbsp;It does not matter if it is with \u201cmy fianc\u00e9.\u201d&nbsp;God does not permit it.&nbsp;It is still iniquity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Violating God\u2019s commandments will cost the sinner quite a bit. To avoid the wages of sin in this area, keep far away (Proverbs 5:8) from a \u201cstrange\u201d relationship.&nbsp;Do not even consider dating an unsaved person if you are born-again, as it can be on the pathway to falling into sin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The price one may pay for not heeding this wisdom (Proverbs 5:1, 7) can include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Goals, values, and your future may be changed and confused because of a wrong relationship.<br><em>\u201cLest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.\u201d Proverbs 5:6<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Respect from others can be lost.<br><em>\u201cLest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:\u201d Proverbs 5:9<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One\u2019s regret for an improper relationship may be long-lasting and torturous.&nbsp;(Proverbs 5:9)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What one has worked for so long can be frivolled away because of a wrong decision.<br><em>\u201cLest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger;\u201d Proverbs 5:10.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Although the act may bring temporary gratification, it can create emotional regrets and even physical side effects (including venereal disease).<br><em>\u201cAnd thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,\u201d Prov. 5:11<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The desire and need for companionship are great for most.&nbsp;Be faithful to the mate you already have (Prov. 5:15-20).&nbsp;<br><em>\u201cMarriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.\u201d Heb. 13:4<br>\u201cNevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.\u201d I Cor. 7:2<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you do not have a spouse and desire one, pray and wait patiently for the one God knows is best for you. Too many have not done so, and they&#8217;re not seeking God\u2019s match, which has cost many broken hearts, families, and wasted pasts.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A sexual relationship is reserved for marriage.&nbsp;Premarital sex will NOT get God\u2019s blessing.
