In my lifetime, two American leaders have improved those situations.&nbsp;Presidents Reagan and Trump are those leaders, but their love and help for their country are only temporary.&nbsp;Others followed that do not have America\u2019s best interest in their decision-making.&nbsp;Politicians (\u201cprinces\u201d) will always disappoint many because they are only human, have agendas, and often make mistakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, One wants to be a leader in everyone\u2019s life.&nbsp;He is not concerned with one\u2019s race, sex, financial credibility, or history.&nbsp;He wants to be the trusted Leader in everyone\u2019s life. The One who wants what is best for you is the holy God of Heaven.&nbsp;As mighty as He is, God is concerned and cares for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is nothing He can gain from any of us.\u00a0God has it all and has made it all. He is unlike the many (\u201csons of man\u201d) who often only befriend or are kind to us because they want something you have or can give them.<br><em>\u201cHappy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:\u201d Psalm 146:5<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not only can God be trusted, but He offers much to those who will love Him and rely on Him. God will bring those that turn to Him for guidance: happiness (Psalm 146:5), help (Psalm 145:5), hope (Psalm 145:5), truthfulness (Psalm 145:6), provisions for the hungry (Psalm 145:7), deliverance from bondage (Psalm 145:7), understanding (\u201copeneth the eyes of the blind\u201d \u2014 Psalm 145:8), lessened burdens (\u201craiseth them that are bowed down\u201d \u2014 Psalm 145:8), protection for many that are not even the children of God (\u201cpreserveth the strangers\u201d \u2014 Psalm 145:9), relief to the \u201cfatherless and widow\u201d (Psalm 145:9), and judgment to the wicked (Psalm 145:9).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God is the one whom all should trust. He is much better than any of us deserve, and He loves us despite knowing all about us! Governments and people will fail us too often, but God never will.&nbsp;As the chapter begins and ends with praising our mighty God, so should we.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Today\u2019s Thought:&nbsp;<\/strong><br>\u201cYou may trust the Lord too little, but you can never trust Him too much.\u201d&nbsp;\u2014 Author Unknown<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Words to Understand:<\/strong><br>Strangers:&nbsp;In this context, it refers to non-Jewish people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Today\u2019s Reading<\/strong>:<br><em>Psalm 146<br>1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.<br>2 While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.<br>3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.<br>4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.<br>5 \u00b6 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:<br>6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:<br>7 Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry.
