That wrongdoer was also void of usual moral and social standards. There was little he would not stoop to to get his way. The king recognized this danger to himself and society as that of an \u201cevil man.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although there have always been menaces to normality and morality, today\u2019s society also sees evilness.&nbsp;With decades of efforts to remove God\u2019s commandments from conventional thinking, controlling powers have succeeded. Due to past plans, plots, and schemes, we now have a majority that is unable to distinguish right from wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although not all social engineers were in politics, some preyed on the innocent in school systems. The media is careful of the \u201cnews\u201d they disseminate.&nbsp;Ungodly intentions have brainwashed millions of their \u201cstudents.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We see evilness today in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Entertainment.\u00a0People watch movies, video games, and television that capitalize on crime, immorality, and practices God forbids.\u00a0This constant bombardment of evil practices has created desensitized generations that accept what God commands us not to do.<br>\u201cWhich imagine mischiefs in their heart\u2026.\u201d Psalm 140:2a<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Violence.\u00a0Because morals are unknown to so many, violence and death are commonplace.\u00a0Wars, violence, and death are quickly becoming an option for many who have had their values eroded.<br>\u201c\u2026 continually are they gathered together for war.\u201d Psalm 140:2b Also: Psalm 140:4.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relations with people. There was a time when a man\u2019s word was his bond.\u00a0Promises were made without four notarized copies of contracts.\u00a0A handshake and a person\u2019s promise guaranteed they would keep their commitment.\u00a0No longer is that the case.<br><em>\u201cThey have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders&#8217; poison is under their lips. Selah.\u201d Psalm 140:3<br>\u201c\u2026 they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.\u201d Psalm 140:5b<\/em> Also: Psalm 140:11.<br><br>However, because of discarded and untaught biblical morals, honesty and keeping one\u2019s word are often not considered. Deception, treachery, and verbal attacks are also regarded as acceptable behavior.\u00a0Honesty is foreign to many.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pride.\u00a0Pride in being a decent person, one\u2019s work, and accomplishments can be a good emotion.\u00a0However, being proud without giving God credit for a blessing and His gift of an ability can lead one to think one is something special when one is not.\u00a0Also, many sin and harm others just so their pride can be lifted up.\u00a0We often see this when all laws and morality are disregarded, allowing another to appear right and good.<br><em>\u201cThe proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.\u201d Psalm 140:5<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because of sin, there will always be evil in this world.
