He did what so many today need to do.\u00a0The leader was subservient to God\u2019s will and way. He obeyed and followed His Lord, as a small child would mind his parent (Psalm 131:2) \u2014 faithfully and trustingly.<br><em>\u201cWhosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.\u201d Matthew 18:4<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately, when most do well financially and position-wise, they allow their success to go to their heads.&nbsp;Many people believe they are more important or of greater value than they actually are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are all sinners.&nbsp;None of us deserves what we may have and experience in this life.&nbsp;Only by God\u2019s grace and mercy was David blessed with all he had.&nbsp;It is also by the same grace that we have accomplished anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are no different than David.&nbsp;Despite our education, wealth, experience, or power, we often disappoint our Heavenly Father and break His commandments.&nbsp;None of us deserves anything, but because of God\u2019s love and mercy, He frequently trusts us with more than we deserve.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Be grateful and humble with what you have and what you have done.&nbsp;You have what you have only because of God\u2019s graciousness.&nbsp;Never forget that!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Today\u2019s Thought:&nbsp;<\/strong><br>\u201cTrue humility is not an abject, groveling, self-despising spirit; it is but a right estimate of ourselves as God sees us.\u201d&nbsp;\u2014 Edwards<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Words to Understand:<\/strong><br>Haughty: prideful; one who thinks highly of himself<br>Lofty: one who has high, often unrealistic, plans for himself<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Today\u2019s Reading:<\/strong><br><em>Psalm 131<br>1 A Song of degrees of David.
